„I am your roadkill“ is part of the so-called "Notebook Series" - an ongoing project in which I publish my collected notes in chronological order. The publication is a score for a spoken word performance in which I read out each note in high speed, one after the other, so thatthe scraps of thoughts, quotes and concepts become a kind of "voice traffic". The inner voices and snippets of conversation mingle and are rendered at eye level with their speed, so that by the time you can grasp them, they have already evaporated. The focus of the respective notebook performance is always on the respective focal points of the time in which the notes were recorded. In the case of "I am your roadkill" the concentration is on the topics: neoliberal office language, the hardships of contemporarylove (and its new categories and terminologies) and the concept of hosting.

"What I (don't) remember" is a text about falling in all possible metaphorical meanings of the word - and in a very concrete one: Olga Hohmann describes a bicycle fall on her (quote from the doctor's letter) "unhelmeted" head and the unexpected experiences and encounters that result from it. The essay is a description of everyday observations in a decidedly non-ordinary moment and context. The change in perception caused by the fall (and the resulting brain trauma) is evident in the author's language, which, in the density of associations, repeatedly develops an almost poetic character.
